Welcome To Section G13

Thank you for visiting the website of Section G13, serving the Southwest and Councils in San Diego, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Tucson. The Lodges we serve are Nebagamon, Papago, Tiwahe, and Wipala Wiki.

Section G13 was formed from Section W6W with the launch of the OA Gateway Region on January 1, 2022. This Section dates back to 1957, under other names like Area 12-F, Section W4C, and Section W5A.

Running for a Section Youth Position!

If you would like to run for a Section W6W position you must submit a letter of intent that is signed by the Scout Executive. This letter must be submitted to Gary Hnydowitz by October 9, 2022.

Example Letter:

I ________________________ wish to run for the position(s) of Section Chief, Section Vice Chief, Secretary for the Section year 2022-2023. Please circle which position(s) you would like to be considered for.

In Memory of Jerry Schneider

Associate Section Adviser Jerry Schneider passed away on May 30. As a dedicated Scouter in the Order of the Arrow and Venturing programs, he will be greatly missed.
